Bob Narmont

Bob founded UCB in 1973 with one location in Greenfield, IL.  Today, under his continuous leadership, UCB comprises 45 banks in 33 communities with more than $3 Billion in assets and over 500 employees.  Bob is a distinguished alumni of the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Accountancy.  He also holds Master of Science in Commerce from St. Louis University. Bob is a Graduate Alumni Board member of ND's Mendoza College of Business, a founding member of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, and has served in numerous community and industry leadership roles throughout his accomplished career.

Dan Wilcoxen
President & CEO
United Community Bank 

Dan joined United Community Bank as Chief Financial Officer in 2013, and was elected President & CEO in 2021.  He is a graduate of University of Illinois Springfield with both a B.A. and an M.B.A. in accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant.  Active in our community, Dan is a long-serving board member and past chair of the Springfield Old Capital Art Fair and also serves on the Lincoln Land Community College Board of Directors.

 

Rick Grenzebach

As senior counsel at Brown Hay + Stephens, Illinois' oldest law firm, Rick specializes in education, employment, public sector, corporate, and commercial law.  He also serves as general counsel to various school and community college districts and other commercial enterprises.  Rick has been a member of the UCB Board since 1984, and is a graduate of Denison University, Granville, OH (B.A.); Northwestern University, Chicago, IL (M.B.A.); and Loyola University School of Law, Chicago, IL (J.D.)

Jerry Barkmeier
President
The Barkmeier Group, Inc.

A UCB Director since 2003, Jerry is an attorney, certified financial planner, and president of The Barkmeier Group, a full-service tax-preparation and accounting firm.   Prior to founding The Barkmeier Group in 2004, he was a partner with Eck, Shafer & Punks, LLP and Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche.  Jerry is a graduate of Creighton University College of Business Administration with a B.S.B.A in Accounting & Finance, and earned his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.

Diane Rutledge
Partner, District Leadership Solutions

A renowned educator and passionate advocate for students and teachers throughout Illinois, Diane earned her B.A. degree from Western Illinois University. She also holds degrees in educational leadership from the UIS, SIU, and the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government Superintendent Leadership Program. Diane served as superintendent of District 186 from 2002-07 before leading LUDA as executive director  for 10 years. Diane is an active board member and past chair of Memorial Health and Springfield Memorial Hospital, and has served on the UCB Board of Directors since 2007.

Chuck Davis
Managing Partner, Brown Hay & Stephens, LLP

Chuck was elected to the UCB Board of Directors in 2020. As managing partner at Brown Hay + Stephens, he provides counsel  to existing and emerging businesses and associations, primarily on corporate, commercial, and energy matters. Chuck is a graduate of Quincy University with a B.A. in political science and earned his J.D. from the SIU School of Law. He has served on Illinois State Bar Association's Board of Governors and is a former director and treasurer of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Illinois and Leadership Springfield.

Bob Rhea
CEO,  Illinois Farm Business Farm Management (FBFM)

Bob has more than 35 years of service with FBFM and joined the UCB Board of Directors in 2020. He is a member and former national executive director of National Association of Farm Business Analysis Specialists.  A graduate of John Wood Community College, Quincy, IL (A.S,), Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL (B.S.), and University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL (M.B.A.), Bob also holds an Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent designation, and is a Tax School instructor at the University of Illinois.  He is also an engaged member of the JWCC Board of Trustees and Panther Pride Foundation.
